Deep Democracy Applications in Business, Social Impact Organizations, Governments and Collective Initiatives

As individuals, many of us experience the dance of our own identities (that we can get stuck in!!) and our dreaming processes (the powerful forces that organize our growth).  Organizations do too! Organizations are living organisms.

Just as each of us has our own fate, story, and process, every organization also has its own fate, story, “soul” or essence, and process. Deep Democracy in organizations discovers these hidden, deep, natural change processes and makes them explicit so they can be used for organizations, teams and the people living and working in them to resolve conflicts, bring inclusion and motivation, and ultimately help everyone to thrive.

Think of it as shamanic work with organizations - "shamanic" referring to the framing of subtle energies and powerful conflicts as the time spirits' invisible forces inciting us to change, grow, and increase our multi-level impact in the world.

This seminar shows how unique "organizational situations" bring these aspects together and challenge all parties to grow: the facilitator to become aware about her or his growth, and the organization and team to become aware of the next steps to surf these waves. We will demonstrate this process working with you on the situations that you bring, and we will practice working with each other surfing the waves of organizational development.

We consider the Deep Democracy leader and facilitator to be guided by an awareness of process.  Ideally, she or he tries to remember that each of us is governed by an identity, a complex composition of social roles and personal history, and a natural, essential dreaming process that is the key to our deepest nature. These processes are often hidden in conflicts, difficulties, symptoms and other disturbances. We will show and practice together how this applies practically to the situations and questions that you bring.

Our seminar will include the following points:

• Comprehensive overview of Process Work, Worldwork and Deep Democracy applications within the boundaries of commercial organizations, governments, public services, non profit groups, grassroots movements

• Deep Democracy Executive Leadership and Team Coaching – Introduction, Demonstration and Case Consultation

• Large Group Processes in Organizations: Introduction and Case Consultation

• Developing process-oriented change initiatives: Overview and Case Consultation

In addition, you will have opportunities to work on how your own personal growth processes enhances your work, and how to apply each learning step into a real time situation in your present day work life.
