Improving Access and Quality in Long-Term Care for Gay Older Adults

You are invited to a special training on the unique challenges of aging in the gay community.  The training will feature a widely recognized documentary, Gen Silent.
Monday, Feb. 10 • 6 – 8:30 p.m. (Registration starts at 5:30 p.m.)
This event, sponsored by Providence ElderPlace and Providence Home Services, the Process Work Institute of Portland and the Deep Democracy Institute International will help you better understand the social and cultural barriers that the aging LGBT community often faces in accessing health care and long-term care services. The training will provide foundational knowledge of the topic, including definitions, discussion, best practices and community resources.
